Hut 126 is able to provide a variety of services to suit the requirements of your production. From aerial filming, to broadcast camera operation and editing, Dave has the skills needed to get your production off the ground. 

Aerial FILMING

Dave trained as a drone pilot during 2017 when he obtained his CAA Drone Pilot’s Professional License – PfCO (Permission for Commercial Operations) and is fully licensed for commercial drone filming and photography. 

Hut 126 Productions operates a Phantom 4 Pro Plus drone which is capable of shooting up to 4K Ultra HD resolution and also slow motion in 1080p HD and all ‘flavours’ in between. 

The ability to offer cost effective aerial filming from a drone brings  awesome production quality within the reach and budget of everyone. As well as high quality video footage we can provide amazing stills too, shooting in RAW format at 20 Megapixels.

Having worked in the television industry for over 27 years Dave has covered most types of video work. He has been around the world, filming major international tournaments for Sky Sports, BBC, Forces TV, SNTV, and many others. Along with a detailed knowledge of the broadcast industry Dave’s experience makes him a valuable asset to any team. As someone who loves what he does he provides a calm but professional attitude and is very open to creatively sharing ideas. 

Being able to edit as well as shoot means knowing what is required when filming and making sure all bases are covered. Dave regularly shoots and edits ‘on the road’ for Sky Sports News when there are short time constraints and high demand for speed and quality. Knowing how to set up and film efficiently and creatively comes with experience and helps the production team achieve their objectives with minimum fuss.
